on Wednesday at church until the time of service. A memorial fund has been estab- Hollywood invades Wisconsin BRODHEAD (AP) "The Deep End of the Ocean" isn't the kind of movie Anton Dziengelewski, 17, would rush to see. A weepy drama about a young mother whose child is kidnapped? Nah. Except now, he's in it. Dziengelewski.

and his Brodhead High School classmate, Jeron Cassidy, drove a burgundy Pontiac Grand 1 Prix along Interstate 90 last Monday to film part of a scene for the movie. The half-dozen movie cars meshed with the day's traffic as they moved into Rock County, but you might be a able to pick out their car from all the rest. It's the one with a bright orange "For Sale" sign on the dash. "Oops," said Cassidy, 17. "I kind of forgot it was there." Oh, well.

If the film makers thought that sort of detail would be visible on film, they might have asked Dziengelewski to remove his earrings and necklaces or wear a cap to cover his brightly dyed hair. After all, the film, which will star Michelle Pfeiffer, is set in '80s suburbia. The best-selling book on which the move is based was written by Madison author Jacquelyn Mitchard. But the shoot wasn't exactly star-making stuff. It was basic "second unit," which means the actors weren't there and the shots probably won't be much more than a transitional moment stuck in another scene.

"We call them inserts," said executive producer Steve Nicolaides, who also acted as second unit director. He and cinematographer Stephen Goldblatt set up the 90, from mile markers 151 to 180. The crew included a helicopter to film aerial shots. The film makers shot just enough here, Nicolaides hopes, to convince viewers the story is taking place in the Midwest, not in California, where most of it will be shot later this fall. Last Monday's scene set up the Pfeiffer character's journey from Madison to Chicago for a high school reunion.
