What would you call summer hibernating? :)That's kinda what I'm talking about in this week's episode of the Strategic Travel Entrepreneur Podcast, except the benefit of the summer is that it's not as packed with events as Q4 is.I'd almost say that this is the most wonderful time of year for planning and re-evaluating your original yearly goals.So before we start thinking about my personal favorite time of year, do future you a favor by checking off some of the things on this checklist :)And let's chat about it--what is the top task you're looking forward to checking off this summer?

I know I'm not the only introvert to do this 🙈You see....I love networking, but in-person networking still makes me a little nervous.So when I find local events where I can meet new people, I go into stalker mode.This means, I research the location and parking options, especially if it's a downtown location.I want to know exactly where it is and what the parking situation is like.Not knowing this, makes me super anxious.And what makes my anxiety worse....when the plan doesn't go through like I had planned out.This situation pretty much happened to me yesterday, and after driving around the block about three times, I threw in the towel.Thankfully the evening was not a waste, as my Rotary Chapter was still meeting, just still bummed that my original plans didn't go as I had planned.Let me know if this is you too, or if you've got any pointers for intorvert me 🙂

Done is better than perfect :)Have had a little, but amazing distraction this week, with having my mom helping with cleaning up the front patio of my home.Read that as...she did most of the work and I barely helped because she's the early bird and really loves doing yard work.So while she was out weeding, I was recording this podcast episode and have already started working ahead because summer Rita really wants to take a little bit of a break this year.Just this week's Strategic Travel Entrepreneur Podcast's highlights!

Never in my life have I ever experienced such negligent incompetence as I have the past two days with Stripe.Someone please tell me you have any pointers or contacts I can connect with to resolve an issue asap.

Things that make me 🤔When people schedule calls and don't show up. That's an ick just in itself.Then I've recently gotten "Oh I was busy with a client" when I email to follow up.Do people just not know how to business?I've never missed a call I was scheduled for, and if I knew I needed to reschedule, I reached out as early as I could to do so.What say you LinkedIn Fam?
